The Advanced Practice Provider will manage patient care from initial diagnosis through long-term follow-up within the undiagnosed cancer clinic. They will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate diagnostic testing, clinical management, and patient education.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent, with current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Virginia. At least two years of advanced practice experience is preferred, along with Basic Life Support certification.

The Undiagnosed Clinic Advanced Practice Provider under general supervision and in accordance with APP standardized procedures/ protocol:
Counsels and educates patients and families and monitors patient progress from initial visit to long term follow-up within the undiagnosed clinic. Coordinates comprehensive cancer assessment including diagnostic testing. Responsible for ongoing clinical management of the patient during their visits but works in collaboration with the patient’s referring provider as well as other members of the patient’s care team to ensure optimal patient experience and outcomes.
