The Physical Therapist is responsible for documenting evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries while ensuring effective communication with patients and their families. They also provide education and training to patients and caregivers to facilitate treatment plans.
Candidates must have a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy, with a Master's preferred, and a valid Virginia Physical Therapist license. BLS/CPR certification is required upon start, and while experience is not mandatory, a year in an inpatient rehab setting is preferred.
