The Medical Technologist performs complex laboratory testing across multiple specialties to support patient diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities include validating results, maintaining laboratory instruments, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality assurance protocols.
A Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science is required, along with national certification. One to three years of hospital or acute care laboratory experience is preferred.
National certification (ASCP, AMT, or equivalent) required.
