The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant provides supervised medical services with an emphasis on acute and same-day care, operating under the rules and policies established by relevant state and medical organizations. Essential duties include educating patients, maintaining licensure, communicating treatment progress, and referring patients to appropriate licensed providers when necessary.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in a related field and be a graduate of an accredited school of medicine. A minimum of two years of experience as a Physician Assistant in an acute care setting is required, along with current licensure as a Physician's Assistant in the State of Maryland or eligibility for licensure.
