Primary duties involve rooming patients, obtaining vitals, assisting physicians with procedures and specialty tests, and managing phone triage and scheduling for new and established patients. The role also includes providing health education, utilizing EMR for records and prescriptions, and supporting overall patient care delivery in the department.
Candidates are strongly preferred to have a minimum of one year of prior Medical Assistant experience, with ENT specialty experience being a plus, and must hold national certification (e.g., AAMA, NCCT). Required qualifications also include current CPR/BLS certification within 60 days of hire, demonstrated ability to work independently, and excellent communication skills.
