Perform psychological assessments and develop behavior management plans for patients, including those with dual diagnoses of mental illness and intellectual disability. Provide individual and group psychotherapy, testify in court hearings, and collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams.
Must hold a current license as a Clinical Psychologist from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation. Candidates must be able to obtain CPR certification and pass CPI training and background checks.
Requires current license as a Clinical Psychologist by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.
Requires the ability to meet the requirements for credentialling and privileging as a consulting member of the medical staff of Alton Mental Health Center within 30 days of employment. Requires the ability to work within multiple interdisciplinary teams. Requires the ability to utilize office equipment, including personal computers. Requires the ability to obtain and maintain Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification. Requires ability to pass CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) training within the probationary period including the physical ability to prevent injury to patient or others by restraining patients if necessary. Requires the physical ability to access various worksites throughout the hospital for administrative and clinical duties. Requires the ability to travel in the performance of job duties. Requires ability to pass the IDHS background check. Requires ability to pass a drug screen for drugs prohibited from recreational use under Illinois Law.
