The Medical Coordinator, Licensed Practical Nurse or Vocational Nurse, arranges and coordinates appropriate health services, including urgent, emergent, and preventative care for children in care. This involves maintaining confidential medical records, communicating health needs, scheduling appointments, coordinating transportation, and acting as a liaison with community health care providers.
Candidates must possess a current Licensed Practical Nursing Credential and have a minimum of two years of previous medical services administration experience, including securing comprehensive health services programs. Applicants must also be at least 21 years old and be bilingual in Spanish.

The Medical Coordinator, Licensed Practical Nurse or Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) works as a staff member of the Student Services team. Arrange and coordinate appropriate health services, including urgent, emergent and preventative health services, for children in care. This includes maintaining complete, confidential medical records for children, ensuring appropriate communication of health needs to case managers and clinicians, scheduling health care appointments, coordinating transportation to health care appointments, ensuring qualified interpretation and translation services are in place, and serving as a liaison for community health care providers.
High School diploma or equivalent ~Must possess a current Licensed Practical Nursing Credential from the state in which employed~ Minimum of two years of previous medical services administration, including demonstrated experience in operating and securing comprehensive health services programs~ Be at least 21 years of age ~ Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen (we no longer test for THC), physical, and TB test ~ Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry.
