The Medical Coordinator serves as an assistant to the Medical Department, managing appointment scheduling and medical documentation. They are also responsible for medical supply ordering, billing processing, and transporting residents to healthcare providers.
Candidates must be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma and a valid driver's license. Certification as a Medical or Nurses Assistant and experience in medical billing are preferred.

As the Medical Coordinator you will primarily serve as the assistant to the entire Medical Department. You would be responsible for the scheduling of medical appointments for our residents at outside healthcare professionals, filing medical documentation in the residents medical file, document medical supply orders while working within budget, and ensure all medical billing is processed on time and corrects insurance disputes when necessary. At times you would be responsible for the transportation of residents to outside medical appointments.
Be at least 21 years of age ~ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, certification for Medical Assistant or Nurses Assistant is preferred ~ Medical billing experience is preferred ~ Possess a current driver’s license and an acceptable driving record for the past three years ~ Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.
Monday through Friday 8 AM to 4 PM.
