The Occupational Therapy Assistant provides treatments under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, participating as a member of the interdisciplinary team to support patient care. Primary duties include delivering treatments according to established plans, assisting with evaluations, observing and reporting patient conditions, and maintaining required documentation.
Candidates must possess an Associate of Science degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant and hold or be eligible for licensure in the state of practice. A minimum of one year of rehabilitation experience in a relevant setting and active membership in the AOTA are preferred.

Associate of Science degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant. Current license or eligible for license under statutes in the state of practice. Prefer minimum one (1) year rehabilitation experience in setting serving the same age/type of patient population served by this facility. Prefer active membership in the state and national American Occupational Therapy Association. Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. Adequate computer skills in order to complete required job duties and computerized documentation. Ability to understand and follow the directions of the Occupational Therapist and the policies and procedures of Vertis Therapy.
