The primary function involves providing translation and interpretation services to support non-English speaking patients and their families during clinical visits, ensuring accurate communication between patients and medical staff. This role also includes assisting patients with completing necessary intake forms and supporting social service intake processes.
Candidates must possess advanced, fluent verbal, reading, and written bilingual communication skills in both Spanish and English, along with basic computer and data entry skills. Required knowledge includes medical terminology in both languages and understanding cultural barriers to medical care, with a high school diploma or GED being mandatory.
