The role involves providing and coordinating care by assessing patient physical and behavioral health needs, developing nursing care plans, maintaining medical records, and educating patients and families. Responsibilities also include adhering to state nursing practice regulations and facility protocols while ensuring physician orders are correctly transcribed and patient status is continuously documented.
Candidates must have graduated from an accredited nursing school and possess a current state-required RN license. One or more years of nursing experience in the facility's clinical service area is preferred, along with required CPR and de-escalation/restraint certifications.
