The professional will provide mental health assessments, individual, couple, and family therapy, and crisis evaluations as needed, while leading intake assessments and developing personalized treatment plans. Responsibilities also include coordinating with Crisis Services and maintaining records according to various accreditation and insurance standards.
Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field, along with current licensure in Illinois as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT. A minimum of two years of experience in a community mental health setting is also required.
Performs diagnostic assessments, collecting diagnostic information, determining immediate treatment plans for patients. Requests medical consultation, where indicated, in a diligent and timely manner. Provides direct, intensive psychiatric therapy to individuals, families and/or groups identified as having psychiatric disorders. Coordinates with Crisis Services for clients presenting that may be a danger to self or others. Maintains records according RYC and accreditation standards MRO, CARF, Medicaid, and Commercial Insurances. Acts as a liaison and resource between the community and patient needs; coordinates treatment goals with community agencies, primary care physicians, court system, and managed-care entities.
Education: Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy or a related field. License(s)/Certification(s): Current licensure in good standing to practice from the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation in one of the following: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Experience: Minimum of two years of experience in a community mental health setting. *Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, internal equity, and other business needs.
