The role involves performing moderate to high complexity test procedures within the Blood Bank specialty, requiring the exercise of independent judgment and responsibility based on qualifications. This position demands proficiency in various laboratory instruments and apparatuses that require significant manual dexterity.
Candidates must possess one year of full-time experience or training in high complexity testing within a clinical laboratory setting, with a preference for three years of clinical experience. Required knowledge includes comprehensive theoretical and operational job knowledge in the designated specialty, along with a relevant degree in Medical Technology, Chemistry, or Biology.
Perform test procedures of moderate/high complexity requiring the exercise of independent judgement and responsibility in those specialties in which they are qualified by education, training and experience.
