The coordinator is responsible for monitoring the overall medical record to validate MDS coding and works with the interdisciplinary team to ensure timely completion of Care Area Triggers and Patient Care Plans. This role also supports documentation accuracy through ongoing in-services provided to center partners.
Candidates must be a Registered Nurse, a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, and currently licensed in the state, with professional experience in geriatric nursing. Knowledge of the Resident Assessment Instrument, SNF Part A Medicare, and Consolidated billing rules is required.
