This role involves providing safe and effective patient care, which includes directing PCA activity, synthesizing patient information, performing assessments, planning interventions, and implementing treatment plans based on physician orders. Responsibilities also cover teaching patients and families, documentation, and continuous evaluation of care standards.
Candidates must be graduates of an RN School of Nursing, with a BSN preferred, and ideally possess one year of acute care experience along with basic computer skills. Required credentials include a current CA RN license, current BLS-HCP, and current ACLS (unless in NICU).
Education/Training/Experience Graduate of RN School of Nursing; BSN preferred. One year acute care experience preferred. Basic computer skills preferred.
