Medical Assistants and Nursing Assistants are responsible for providing compassionate and professional care to individuals with eating disorders and assisting providers to enhance the quality of patient care. Key duties include taking vitals, performing basic lab tests, assisting with documentation, preparing exam rooms, and supporting treatment team coordination.
Candidates must have a high school degree or GED, and specific qualifications depend on the role: Medical Assistants require graduation from an accredited program and certification (AAMA, AMT, NHA-CCMA, NCMA, or ARMA), while Nursing Assistants require current CNA II licensure in the state of employment. All employees must obtain Basic Life Support and First Aid certifications within 30 days of hire.
