The Speech-Language Pathologist will evaluate residents for swallowing or cognitive deficits, helping them achieve goals through individualized treatment plans and providing skilled therapy assessments. Responsibilities also include educating residents and caregivers, coordinating diagnostic procedures, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
Candidates must possess an active/valid Texas license in Speech-Language Pathology and be in good standing with all regulatory agencies. Experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities or long-term care is preferred, along with current knowledge of treatment practices and familiarity with the Net Health Electronic Documentation System.
