The Medical Assistant performs non-invasive, routine, technical support services under the supervision of licensed medical professionals. Key duties include setting up exam rooms, checking in patients, obtaining vital signs, performing venipunctures, and conducting audiometry and vision testing.
A High School Education or GED is required for this position. Preferred qualifications include being a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), holding a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and having a Phlebotomy certificate.
