• QualificationsComputer
• Skills: Strong computer skills including database software and general knowledge of email/outlook. Must be able to utilize device to document in Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
• Supervisory
• Responsibilities: This job supervises care provided by LPN and HHA’s.
• Education/Experience: Associates Degree in Nursing, Bachelor in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred. CHPN preferred. Hospice experience preferred.
• Language
• Skills: Communication skills of reading, writing, and speaking in English.
• Mathematical
• Skills: Math skills needed including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and percentages/fractions with ability to calculate medication doses. Nurse must successfully pass the math test given at time of interview prior to starting orientation and annually.
• Certificates,
• Licenses,
• Registrations: Current Registered Nurse License to practice in the state of Florida Healthcare Provider CPR required upon hire and maintained. CHPN preferred; Required within 2 years of employment. Valid Florida Driver’s License required.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Visits outside of the Inpatient Unit setting involve driving to patient homes. Must be able to endure exposure to common household allergens (i.e., pets, plants, dust).
