The Cardiovascular Ultrasound Tech performs high-quality cardiac and vascular ultrasound procedures. They must follow department policies and protocols to ensure quality patient care.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and current ARDMS or CCI credentials. A minimum of 6 months of experience as a Cardiac and Vascular Ultrasound Technologist is required, or relevant experience as a new graduate.

QualificationsEducation: High school diploma Current ARDMS (American Registry Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) credentials in: RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) Or Current CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) credentials in: RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) Must hold or obtain current BLS Experience: 6 months as Cardiac and Vascular Ultrasound Technologist in Hospital or Cardiologist office, or Ultrasound School New Graduate with 3 months Hospital Cardiac and Vascular Ultrasound experience under the supervision of an experienced Cardiac and Vascular Sonographer.
