The Behavioral Health Technician participates in treatment planning meetings and implements interventions for patients in a correctional setting. Responsibilities include providing therapeutic support services, crisis management, and assisting with record maintenance.
A Bachelor’s Degree in a Social Science is required, along with two years of experience in activities programming for patients with serious mental illness preferred. Candidates must also maintain current tuberculosis documentation and active CPR/AED certification.
