The Audit Integrity Data Reporting Clerk is responsible for submitting records for audit requests and ensuring the completeness of documentation. This role involves tracking data accuracy and maintaining a good working relationship within the department.
A high school diploma or GED is required, along with 1-3 years of medical experience. Proficiency in computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Word, is also necessary.

Abstracts moderate to highly complex data and records by strictly adhering to established definitions and guidelines and maintains an abstracting volume to meet internal and external reporting deadlines. Determines the validity of the abstracted data and questions controversial information prior to data entry or submission. Tracks and validates data accuracy and timeliness in accordance with established guidelines. Actively participates in problem identification and resolution Accurately interprets and follows frequently changing data definitions and guidelines. Takes ownership of projects, researches data and follows through with detailed action plans. Maintains a good working relationship within the department and with other departments. Demonstrates an ability to be flexible, organized and function under stressful situations. Provides accurate and timely written and verbal communication of information in a manner that is understood by all. Able to listen, understand, problem-solve, and carry-out duties to ensure the optimal outcome. Adheres to dress code; appearance is neat and clean. Completes annual education requirements. Maintains patient confidentiality at all times. Reports to work, meetings and professional obligations on time. Represents the organization in a positive and professional manner. Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
