This versatile role involves splitting time between front office tasks, such as managing patient check-ins and scheduling, and clinical duties, including chairside assisting during various oral surgical procedures. Responsibilities also cover maintaining the schedule flow, handling patient communications, and ensuring strict adherence to sterilization protocols.
Candidates must possess an active RDA license and 2–3 years of experience as an RDA, with surgical assisting experience being strongly preferred. Comfort working in both clinical and front office settings, strong organizational skills, and the ability to remain professional under pressure are essential qualifications.
We are looking for a skilled and versatile team member who can seamlessly move between the front office and the clinical floor. In the morning you may be checking patients in and managing the schedule, and in the afternoon you may be chairside assisting during a surgical procedure. What You Will Do Front Office Greet and check patients in and out with a warm, professional manner Manage and maintain the daily schedule to ensure smooth patient flow Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries in a timely and professional manner Communicate clearly with patients about appointments, pre-op and post-op instructions, and follow-up care Coordinate with the clinical team to ensure the schedule runs on time Clinical & Surgical Assistance Assist the surgeon chairside during implant placements, All-on-X procedures, extractions, and other oral surgeries Prepare operatories, instruments, and surgical trays prior to procedures Take and process X-rays and CBCT images as needed Ensure proper sterilization and infection control protocols are followed at all times Monitor and support patient comfort throughout procedures Document clinical notes and treatment details accurately Coordinate with the lab and surgical team on case preparation and scheduling What We Are Looking For Active RDA license required 2–3 years of experience as an RDA, with surgical assisting experience strongly preferred Experience in a specialty dental setting (implants, oral surgery, or full-arch cases) is a plus Comfortable working in both a front office and clinical setting Strong scheduling and patient communication skills Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills Calm and professional under pressure in a surgical environment Team player who can adapt quickly and support wherever needed Proficiency in dental practice management software preferred
Competitive pay: $24.00 – $28.00 per hour based on experience Paid time off (PTO) Paid holidays Monday – Thursday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM Supportive regional leadership team Opportunity to grow within a multi-location dental organization
