Candidates must be an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate with experience in primary care, enjoying variety and teamwork. Required certifications include APRN or NP licensure from the Maine State Board of Nursing.

Elmwood Primary Care is recruiting for an experienced, Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate to join their team in Waterville, ME. If you have experience in primary care, enjoy variety, teamwork and have a passion for providing high quality, comprehensive and compassionate care, then this may be the role for you! In this unique role, you will enjoy daily variety by providing coverage for acute appointments (average of 8 patients per day), assist with task management for the physician team, and manage paperwork, refills, patient concerns and patient portal communications. Working a Monday - Friday schedule 8am-5pm, you will work closely with the practice medical staff, care management, a psychiatric nurse practitioner and a licensed clinical social worker to provide team-based care. Participation in the call rotation with all medical staff is required.
