The receptionist will manage patient flow in a busy family health center, handling tasks like phone calls, checking patients in and out, navigating provider schedules, and updating patient registration details in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR). Key duties also include scanning records, maintaining appointment schedules, verifying insurance, and assisting with the Sliding Fee Discount application.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma and prior experience in a receptionist role or medical office setting is required. Proficiency in HIPAA, EMR systems, and specific training required by CRFHC are necessary qualifications for this position.
