The counselor provides compassionate individual and group counseling and develops personalized treatment plans for individuals affected by substance misuse. They are responsible for conducting intake evaluations and collaborating with healthcare professionals to support client recovery.
A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field with a respective license is required, though a Bachelor's degree may be accepted. Experience in substance abuse counseling and an unencumbered professional license are preferred.
