include conducting assessments, developing comprehensive treatment plans, leading group and individual counseling sessions, and maintaining accurate documentation in the Electronic Health Record. The counselor will also monitor client behavior, administer accountability tests, and make necessary community referrals for follow-up care.
A high school diploma or equivalency is required, though a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field is preferred. Candidates must have a minimum of six months of experience in substance abuse or mental health counseling, specifically with an adult population in a residential treatment setting.
