The employee is responsible for setting up and educating patients on the proper usage of prescribed home medical equipment, such as ventilators, monitors, and CPAP/BiPAP units. Responsibilities also include inspecting, testing, and adjusting this equipment to ensure safe and efficient functioning.
Candidates must be qualified as CRTs or RRTs, and potentially other clinicians depending on state law, and must maintain current state and/or national board certifications or licenses. Applicants are also required to have a reliable personal vehicle for patient visits and possess in-depth knowledge of pulmonary function and rehabilitation.
