The Speech-Language Pathologist will evaluate residents for swallowing or cognitive deficits and implement individualized treatment plans to improve their independence and functioning. Responsibilities also include providing education to residents and caregivers, coordinating diagnostic procedures, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
Candidates must possess an active/valid Texas license in Speech-Language Pathology and be in good standing with all regulatory agencies. Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or long-term care setting is preferred, along with current knowledge of treatment practices.
