The Registered Veterinary Technician will assist in providing high-quality care by triaging patients, safely handling animals, collecting and analyzing lab samples, and performing diagnostic imaging like X-rays. This role also involves providing nursing care for hospitalized cases, administering medications, preparing for surgery, and assisting with anesthetic management.
Candidates must possess an active Registered Veterinary Technician license, with 1+ year of professional experience preferred but not required, and must be available to work weekends. Essential qualifications include expertise in safe animal restraint, proficiency in various sample collection methods, experience in radiographic positioning, and knowledge of anesthesia administration and monitoring.
