The Physical Therapy Assistant is responsible for providing physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist. They will perform procedures in clients' homes, administer therapeutic exercises, and modify treatment plans as authorized.
Candidates must have an associate degree from an accredited physical therapist assistant program and hold a valid practice license from the New Hampshire Office of Allied Health Professions. Good organizational skills, customer service excellence, and BLS certification are also required.
The North Country Home Health & Hospice Agency Physical Therapist Assistant is responsible for providing physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist in accordance with the plan of care. The Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant will utilize therapeutic exercise, modalities and activities to achieve the highest level of function possible within the home environment. In this position you will be working within a leadership team that expects to maintain patient quality outcomes that score in the top 20% of Home Health Agencies in the country.
The Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant is accountable first to the supervising Physical Therapist and secondly, to the North Country Clinical Nurse Manager.
Works closely with medical staff, clinical staff, and support staff of North Country Home Health & Hospice.
