• We are searching for a talented RN Hospice Baylor Hours: 24hrs Shift: Every Friday-Sunday Location: Southcoast Health at Home - Fairhaven, MA *this position requires travel Due to the nature of a baylor postion, you work 24hrs and are compensated for 32hrs. Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Clinical Manager or designee and within agency and department policies and procedures, establish the standards of practice for the Staff Nurse which are based upon the American Nurses Association of Standards of Home Health Nursing Practice. Assess and care for patients with various health problems ranging in severity. Work in cooperation with individual patients, caregivers and ancillary staff. Advise regarding various modalities to meet patient wellness and illness needs including medication, nutrition, exercise and technical nursing treatments. Teach and support various positive self-care activities including problem solving and treatment alternatives.

Qualifications

Graduate of an NLN accredited school is required. A Bachelors Degree in Nursing is preferred. Minimum one-year hospital medical/surgical or other relevant nursing experience is required. Has knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, which is appropriate to the population of patients served. Proficient computer skills, including experience with various software, database and electronic records programs is preferred. Current RN Licensure in Rhode Island and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required. Evidence of current CPR certification. Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience. Pay Range USD $37.82 - USD $53.96 /Hr.
