The Occupational Therapist will provide therapy to patients unable to perform daily tasks due to illness or injury, working within a home health team to focus on the patient's plan of care and personal goals. Responsibilities include assessing patients, establishing goals, documenting progress, and suggesting adaptive equipment to improve safety and independence.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program and hold an active OT license in Michigan, along with a minimum of one year of occupational therapy experience, preferably in home healthcare. CPR certification and knowledge of state/federal home health regulations are also required.
