The technologist is responsible for executing routine imaging exams in inpatient or outpatient settings, adhering strictly to protocols for positioning, image quality, and radiation safety. This role involves operating specialized equipment like scanners and power injectors, and accurately entering patient data into hospital databases.
Candidates must possess a High School diploma or equivalent, along with current ARRT, RDMS, or CCI registration/certification in relevant modalities within twelve months of hire. New Jersey state licensure in Radiology Technology is also required, alongside analytical skills for problem-solving and the ability to clearly explain procedures to patients and families.
Responsible for performing routine exams in either an inpatient and/or outpatient setting in accordance with established protocols for positioning, image quality, and radiation safety. The inpatient setting may also include assignment to specialty areas requiring a radiologic technologist, such as the ED, OR, or Fluoroscopy. Utilizes a variety of specialized equipment to produce radiographic and fluoroscopic images, including the scanners, power injectors, as well as computers and various software programs to enter patient related information into hospital databases. Contributes to overall excellence of the department through commitment to personal excellence in technical and interpersonal skills.

The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc.” The salary range does not include incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation.
St. Joseph’s Health officially opened the Totowa Health Campus during a special ceremony that included a ribbon cutting and a blessing by the Most Reverend Kevin Sweeney, Bishop of the Diocese of Paterson. More than 100 people attended the event, including Congressman Bill Pascrell, 9th District of New Jersey; John Coiro, Mayor of Totowa; and Senator Kristen Corrado, of New Jersey’s 40th Legislative District.
The new campus, located at 225 Minnisink Road in Totowa, is a 140,000-square-foot facility that integrates a comprehensive listing of outpatient services, including primary and urgent care, diagnostic imaging including MRI and CT, Radiology, Lab Services and Pharmacy all under one roof. A host of medical and surgical physician offices are located on the campus, including cardiology, urology and gynecology, along with specialty Centers including Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy. This fall, the health campus will also be the new home of a Comprehensive Cancer Center opening in October.
