Job Summary and Responsibilities The Emergency Department at Dignity Health Arizona General Hospial (Glendale) is a dynamic environment where you can pursue a highly challenging and rewarding career. Our medical campus and hospital features the most innovative uses of materials to promote patient safety, satisfaction and medical efficiency. As an Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery during critical, time-sensitive situations at St. Joseph's Westgate. You will be the frontline provider, facing a dynamic and unpredictable environment where every moment counts in stabilizing and managing a diverse range of acute medical conditions and traumas. Every day, you will leverage your specialized expertise to provide rapid, individualized, comprehensive care, making swift and critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing urgent patient care plans for patients of all ages, from minor injuries to life-threatening emergencies. You'll collaborate seamlessly within an interdisciplinary team, including physicians, advanced practice providers, paramedics, and support staff, contributing to a high-pressure, yet highly rewarding, environment focused on immediate stabilization and optimal patient outcomes.
