The Group Facilitator is responsible for leading domestic violence and child sex abuse intervention groups, including individual counseling and skill development. They must also maintain accurate client records, perform assessments, and ensure the safety of survivors and children.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field. Additionally, at least two years of experience working with families affected by domestic violence, abuse, or substance issues is required.

The primary responsibility of the Group Facilitator is to facilitate domestic violence or child sex abuse groups involving activities to include group and individual counseling and skill development. This position is under the direct supervision of the Program Supervisor.
1. Behaves in a manner that supports the agency's mission and follows personnel policies and procedures.
2. Participates in planning and preparation for a variety of domestic violence intervention groups.
3. Facilitates a variety of domestic violence intervention and/or child sex abuse groups.
4. Completes individual assessment for group participants and enters data into eHana when assigned.
5. Attends to the safety of victim/survivors and children.
6. Assures timely maintenance of accurate record keeping and data input on clients enrolled in the group.
7. Communicates regularly with co-workers and supervisors about the progress of clients and the development of groups.
8. Regularly attends agency/program staff meetings and trainings, as designated.
1. Bachelor’s degree in in Social Work, Psychology, or related field, required.
2. Two (2) years’ experience and training working with families who have experienced domestic violence, child abuse and neglect, substance abuse, or another related field.
1. Possesses and maintains a valid driver’s license. 2. Has daily access to an automobile. 3. Possesses and maintains proof of no-fault insurance.
