Perform a full range of basic and advanced diagnostic radiologic exams and interventional procedures in Computed Tomography. Ensure all procedures are conducted according to departmental protocols and established standards of practice.
Requires a current California Radiologic Technologist license, ARRT (CT) registration, and American Heart Association BLS certification. At least one year of training or experience in CT scanning within an acute hospital setting is preferred.
Your Role on the Team
In this hybrid position, you will perform a full range of basic diagnostic radiologic exams and procedures in addition to the advanced level of diagnostic exams and interventional procedures in Computed Tomography (CT). Procedures are performed according to departmental protocols, policies, and procedures, and in accordance with the established standards of practice and American College of Radiology (ACR). Applicants must have their current California license for diagnostic imaging and fluoroscopy, ARRT (CT) registration, and BLS certification.
What It Takes to be Successful
Knows cross sectional anatomy, understands contrast procedures, biopsy procedures, knows all diagnostic x-ray procedures including c-arm and portable procedures. Can differentiate between normal and some abnormal anatomy on CT scan. Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
