The role involves performing diversified technical and clinical responsibilities within the cardiac catheterization laboratory, providing nursing care to patients using the nursing process, and executing technical nursing functions.
Candidates must have an Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school, though a BSN is required within three years for new hires effective June 2017, and must hold a Florida RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications.
Performs diversified technical and clinical responsibilities in the cardiac catheterization laboratory. Provides nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process; performs technical nursing functions; and upholds the standard of practice of a professional nurse in caring for patients. The Registered Nurse is expected to perform all staff nurse activities. #ACDP
