The Resident Care Aide is responsible for providing opportunities for residents to meet their goals while adhering strictly to person-centered and behavior plans. This role requires creating a trusting environment, providing quality care, and ensuring residents are safe and their rights are upheld.
A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required, along with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Candidates should possess previous healthcare experience, especially direct care for individuals with disabilities, and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and the ability to follow instructions.
