Case Manager RN, Full time

1.

Education

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arkansas 2.
• Training and
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of acute care nursing experience preferred. Should have past experience working with Medical Staff, Insurance Companies and Medicare/Medicaid. Proficient oral and written communication skills.

3. Job Knowledge Ability to utilize the nursing process in the provision of nursing care including but not limited to administering prescribed treatments, medications and diagnostic tests, formulating a plan of care using the problem list, collaborating with other health care providers and providing education to patients and/or significant others. Successful candidate must be able to communicate both verbally and in written format, with the Medical Staff, review organizations, administration, patients and families as well as others as needed. Must be able to apply evidence based guideline recommendations to determine appropriate acuity levels and recommended care to patient population.
