The Physical Therapy Assistant will administer medically prescribed treatments to relieve pain, improve function, and promote healing, while implementing and modifying patient care plans under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. This role also involves measuring patient function, monitoring treatment responses, and ensuring thorough and timely documentation compliance.
Candidates must possess an active and valid Texas Physical Therapy Assistant license and be in good standing with all regulatory bodies. Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or long-term care setting is preferred, along with current knowledge of physical therapy practices.
