involve accurately and efficiently accessing specialty physician billing and Health Information Systems to gather records necessary for coding and billing professional physician and mid-level services using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS classifications. Senior Coders are also responsible for mentoring junior coders and serving as management support.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, computer literacy, and knowledge of Anatomy, Physiology, and Medical terminology, along with thorough knowledge of CPT and ICD coding evidenced by a skills test score of 80% or better. Required experience varies by level, ranging from one year for Coder I to five years for Sr. Coder, and at least one national coding certification is mandatory.

Applicants will be considered for the appropriate role based on current organizational needs, manager discretion, years of relevant experience, passing a coding assessment and how well they meet the qualifications outlined for each position.
