Perform technical duties related to preparing and dispensing sterile medications, including intravenous admixtures and chemotherapy. Maintain pharmacy logs, stock medications, and ensure the sterilization of compounding equipment.
Requires a high school diploma and completion of an accredited pharmacy technician program or equivalent experience. Must be registered with the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy, with PTCB or ExCPT certification required for Level II.
