The technologist will perform complex diagnostic imaging studies by skillfully maneuvering transducers and selecting technical parameters to capture clear clinical pictures. Responsibilities also include identifying critical pathologies in real-time and guiding patients through exams while maintaining a safe and empathetic environment.
Minimum requirements include obtaining a BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire, along with one of several required credentials in Cardiac Sonography or Radiologic Technology within 180 days. Education must be met by either a High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of experience, an Associate's degree, or 4 years of applicable job-specific experience.
