Provide comprehensive and compassionate occupational therapy services within a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting, collaborating with other therapists and nursing staff to plan safe discharges or ease transitions to the next level of care. Utilize varied diagnoses to fully employ skills while working within a multidisciplinary approach.
Candidates must possess a current Occupational Therapy license or be license eligible to practice in the state of employment and demonstrate strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, along with experience in electronic documentation. Successful applicants should also exhibit good attention to detail, timeliness with documentation, and the ability to work well within a team setting.
A Full-time Occupational Therapist , (OT/OTR), position will be available (starting in June or July) in our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab department located in Catskill, NY.
