This role involves supporting the surgical team by safely restraining patients, obtaining accurate medical histories, coordinating scheduling, and managing the daily surgical workflow from consultation through recovery. Key duties also include clear client communication, generating estimates, processing charges, and assisting with diagnostic testing and operating room preparation.
The ideal candidate must be organized, compassionate, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced clinical setting, requiring a minimum of one year of experience in a veterinary hospital, with surgical experience being preferred. Essential qualifications include proficiency in canine and feline handling, strong veterinary terminology knowledge, excellent client service skills, and high attention to detail.
