The Staff MRI Technologist performs MRI studies according to protocols established by Radiologists, operating the scanner to produce images of consistent optimal quality. This role involves preparing the scan room and equipment, positioning the patient and coils, and maintaining communication with the patient throughout the procedure.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent and must have completed a Non-Degree Program from an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or MRI certificate program. Required experience includes one year as a Radiology Technologist and one year as an MRI Technologist, along with holding the required state license and Basic Life Support certification.
