The Interventional GI Tech assists the physician by providing direct care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients during various complicated interventional cases to ensure optimal outcomes. This role also contributes to operational functions by managing schedules, MD preference cards, and maintaining necessary department supplies and equipment.
Required qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent, an SGNA Advanced Associates Program Certificate for GI Techs, and a minimum of one year of experience as an Interventional GI Lab Technician. Applicants must also hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

REQUIRED High School Diploma or equivalent or post-secondary education SGNA Advanced Associates Program Certificate for GI Techs One (1) year of experience as an Interventional GI Lab Technician Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Visual color acuity screening depending on role in specific units. PREFERRED Two (2) years of experience as an Interventional GI Tech
