The Events & Programs Coordinator is responsible for personally developing and coordinating recreational and therapeutic activities and events for Health Services residents and their families, while also overseeing similar development and delivery from departmental staff. This role involves planning, leading creative community events, coordinating schedules, maintaining a safe environment, and creating event calendars.
Candidates must meet the qualifications for Activity Director as outlined in Federal regulations or be able to complete the necessary courses within six months. Essential requirements include strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, demonstrated creativity, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and prior customer service experience.
