The Physical Therapist Assistant is responsible for administering physical therapy treatments according to an established plan under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to improve patient function and reduce pain. This role also involves maintaining confidential patient records, communicating effectively with all relevant parties, and accurately preparing patient charges for billing.
Candidates must have completed an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program and possess a current Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Assistant license or be license eligible. CPR certification is required, and outpatient experience is preferred but not mandatory.
